Slow editors seem slow to me for other reasons. Most people I've seen do that whether they use smart tool or select each tool with the command which is why I think it doesn't make much of a difference. Learn how Pro Tools Smart Tool gives you instant access to the most useful editing tools. If I need to nudge within the region, or fade, or blade, or delete, or cut, copy, trim from either end or both, add a sync point, snap the clip somewhere, change from slip or grid etc all of that has a specific command which can be used irregardless of what tool you're using to click the clip. When I use the smart tool I also use shortcuts at the same time. If I set a track to elastic audio and use TCE I tend to turn off the multi tool and use the shortcuts, for example. I don't click and drag everything, I don't fade with my mouse for example. I use the smart tool to interact with the clip, either through the option to grab or select by moving my mouse to a specific point. I think I'm not understanding you correctly. r/FilmMakers /r/VideoProduction /r/Videography /r/VideoEngineering /r/Editors /r/DocProduction /r/Freelance /r/ProduceMyScript r/GameAudio /r/LocationSound /r/RateMyAudio /r/ProTools /r/Music /r/StudioPorn /r/SFXLibraries /r/SoundEffectSwap Use the comments section of the AudioPost Mine feature post at the top of the subreddit to link or tell us about things which you are affiliated withĬheck out the AudioPost wiki Related SubReddits Education, new career, and other newcomer info requests. It helps create/resize/format partition flexibly, convert disk between MBR and GPT disks, convert partition between NTFS and FAT32, and convert dynamic disk to basic without data loss in a few clicks.
